Hampden Medical Center's commitment to the West Shore community

From Carlisle to Camp Hill, Etters to Enola, Dillsburg to Duncannon , Penn State Health families and services call the West Shore home. With Hampden Medical Center now open, our friends and neighbors are within 10 minutes of our primary care providers, 20 minutes of our specialty care services and 30 minutes of a Penn State Health acute care hospital.

As Penn State Health advances its commitment to providing residents of the West Shore with high-quality, comprehensive medical care, it also is dedicated to enhancing the vibrant Hampden Township community. The 300,000-square-foot, three-story acute care facility was built into the landscape to take full advantage of the natural surroundings and minimize impact to the area’s noise, light and sightline standards.

Additionally, the new hospital has brought hundreds of jobs to the area. While initially employing 300 to 400 people, plans are to grow to about 950 employees during the next three years.
